KEEPING YOUR WORK/LIFE BALANCE IN CHECK - Sign up for a free seminar in Broadway July 2010
14/06/2010
Liggy Webb, author of ‘How to Work Wonders', will be holding a free half day ‘Workplace Wellness' seminar at Cotswold Conference Centre 9am-1pm on Thursday 1st July.
This half day event is aimed at HR professionals, training managers and anyone that would like to adopt a healthier approach to dealing with the challenges of juggling a busy and stressful working life whilst enjoying and appreciating leisure time with friends, family and colleagues.
The workshop covers attitude, exercise and nutrition, communication, stress management, goal setting and the environment.
Liggy runs a number of ‘Workplace Wellness' seminars to promote a wider understanding of how a more balanced attitude benefits not just the individual but also team productivity and organisations as a whole.
Sharing this ideology, Midlands based training venue Cotswold Conference Centre (CCC) encourages organisations to take a more balanced approach to people development and offer their own "Wellbeing meetings" package that offers delegates ways to use meditation, life coaching or aromatherapy in the workplace.
Head of Sales Nick Akerman explains "Our natural Cotswold environment offers businesses a unique chance to escape the stresses of the office and take a fresher view of their activities both in and outside of work. We are delighted to work with an organisation such as The Learning Architect that share our attitude and beliefs. I hope that local businesses will take the opportunity to benefit from the July event - feedback from the previous seminar was incredibly positive".
"Workplace Wellness" takes place at CCC on Thursday 1st July. For those travelling longer distances overnight accommodation may be available at discounted rates.
For more details see www.CotswoldConferenceCentre.com/WorkplaceWellness. CCC is the only Conference Centre of Excellence in the Cotswolds and an Investor in People. For further details about Cotswold Conference Centre visit www.CotswoldConferenceCentre.com or call 0845 230 8580.
Notes to Editors:Cotswold Conference Centre (CCC) was launched in January 2001. The facilities have developed over the past 45 years from humble beginnings as the residential training school for Group 4 Total Security. The centre now boasts 53 well-appointed en-suite rooms from four charming locations on site, which are set within over 300 breathtaking acres of Cotswold scenery with stunning views across the Vale of Evesham. The conference centre is the perfect learning environment with a village feel and offers meeting rooms with natural daylight, equipment and support from a small, friendly team.
CCC has been recognised as an Investor in People and the team at CCC have been inspected and accredited with Hospitality Assured. CCC were recently recognised at the 2009 Heart of England Tourism awards winning a Silver for Customer service and two highly commended for Sustainability and Business Tourism. They were Training Venue of the Year Finalists in 2007 and won the VisitBritain national Gold Award for Business Tourism in 2005.
Conference Centres of Excellence (CCE) is a marketing consortium for a group of individual centres, both residential and non-residential, who have joined together to promote the concept that dedicated venues provide an ideal environment for business meetings, conferences, team building and any other corporate event which requires a focused and non-distractive environment.
