LifeSkills Solutions is celebrating yet another achievement after becoming a member of The National Skills Academy for Retail. The North Essex Retail Skills Shop led by LifeSkills is opening on Monday 7th October at Freeport Braintree providing access to world class skills solutions for the retail industry. Considered as one of the most effective (Ofsted Inspection Report 2009) training providers in the country, LifeSkills is proud to take part in a national scheme to revive the recession-hit retail sector.

The National Skills Academy for Retail now has 28 centres around the UK and is a Government backed network of training centres designed to increase productivity in the retail sector and has been hailed as a key way to help retailers to develop their staff's potential, improve their performance and prepare for the economic upturn They act as a resource for everyone, from local people hoping to begin their career or get back in to work, to retailers looking for the best way to train their existing workforce.

Since opening in 2002 LifeSkills Solutions has already helped to raise the skills of more than 2000 employees from over 500 retailers from their six centres across the country and have been the nominated training provider at Freeport Braintree for many years.
