This is the third new book from CM Group in as many weeks and the thirtieth book to date authored by Content Master authors. Software expert Jason Lee co-authored the new book from Microsoft's Seattle based Patterns and Practices group and drew on his own extensive experience in this area to create practical and helpful advice on this major Microsoft product.

"Designing Solutions for Microsoft SharePoint 2010: Making the right architecture and implementation decisions" is the full title of the book which is available from Amazon and larger bookshops. SharePoint 2010 delivers a range of powerful new features and this new book covers the associated new design challenges, architecture considerations, and new choices and trade-offs for developers. It provides detailed technical insights to give a deeper understanding of how the platform works, offers side-by-side comparisons of different approaches to common SharePoint development tasks and architecture decisions, and presents design patterns that improve the flexibility and robustness of developer code.

Jason is based at the Bristol offices of CM Group, where he focuses on the use of SharePoint based solutions to knowledge management challenges. He has in depth and inside knowledge of the latest version of SharePoint and has been working with the product since well before its official launch.
