Increase in Compensation (Unfair Dismissal) and Awards for 2008

In February of each year the rates for compensation and awards are increased. From 1st February 2008, the following rates will apply:

Maximum Compensation award for unfair dismissal will increase from £60,600 to £63,000.00
Maximum amount of a 'weeks pay' for calculation basic and additional awards for unfair dismissal and redundancy payment from £3100.00 to £330.00
