Financial services organisation explains how Cornerstone OnDemand's learning and talent management system is driving employee engagement through building a ‘self-service people development system'.

Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., the specialist in on-demand, integrated learning and talent management software and services, has announced that Gary Evans, People and Development Architect at HML - the UK's premier third party mortgage service and part of the Skipton Building Society - will be speaking on ‘talent management in action' from 2pm on 29 January, in a seminar at the Learning Technologies event, Europe's leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work. This year, Learning Technologies - which is being held at London's Olympia on 28th and 29th January 2009 - focuses on ‘Next generation learning at work', and will provide examples of how technology-supported learning is crucial to business performance and success.

Evans, whose company installed Cornerstone OnDemand's talent management system in order to reduce employee time-to-competency, ensure compliance and streamline business processes, commented: "Not only was the project in time and on budget but, within five months, the system has delivered savings equal to its cost. The Cornerstone system has helped us not only to get rid of out-of-date information but also to harmonise our HR processes and produce a great deal of ‘joined up' information - to the benefit of both our staff and the business as a whole."
