The Institute of Payroll Professionals celebrated their 24^th Annual Payroll Conference and Awards Ceremony on the 2 - 4^tSeptember, at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.  Continuing last year's theme of ‘beyond payroll,' the main aim of the action-packed three day event was to provide a wide range of interactive learning sessions and raise the profile of the profession within a fun environment.

Plenary sessions and workshops encompassed the following categories:

• Strategic payroll
• Multi country payroll and shared service
• Payroll management
• Legislation updates
• Skills for payroll
• Introduction to payroll

The conference programme consisted of over 30 workshops, learning sessions, training courses, and a ‘Mods and Rockers' inspired dinner as well as the 5^th Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards.
