Association of Graduate Recruiters aims to reward recruiting excellence
27/3/2009
The 2009 AGR Awards for Graduate Recruitment are now open for entries
Awards ceremony to take place on 6 July 2009 at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, South Wales
The Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) awards for graduate recruitment 2009 have been launched and are now open for entries.
The awards, now in their 21st year, shine a light on the best graduate recruitment schemes and practices and this year's finalists are sure to be hailed after what has been a very difficult year in recruitment due to the recession. With more graduates than ever this year and fewer jobs for them to apply to competition will be fierce, not only for the graduates themselves but for recruiters as well who have an excellent opportunity to attract the top talent.
The competition is open to all AGR members and is judged by both students and graduate professionals.
This year's awards see the introduction of a new category, ‘The Best Employer Brand on Campus Award', which will be judged by careers advisers and students. Judges will be asked to consider whether the companies' brand is regarded as attractive, powerful, informative and innovative on campus.
