UK Training Industry Press Releases

Following a successful pilot programme the Leadership and Management Grant is now available for a new round of applications.

Available to the South East area of the UK

So if your organisation employs between 10 and 250 people you could be eligible for a £500 to £1000 grant towards the training and development of a leader or a group of leaders and senior managers in your organisation.

Academy of Learning have been approved to deliver training and coaching through this grant and can currently offer:

• Award in First Line Management
• Individual management skills coaching including Time Management, Communication Skills, Planning and organising, Solving Problems, Building the Team, Problem Solving,
• Making Presentations.
• Individual I.T. skills development, including website optimisation
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Health & Safety

This is not a definitive list and if you have a particular skills need please ask.

The Grant is approved through a brief application process which we will arrange through the Skills Broker - TCHC - and you can have up to £500 of training which will be fully refunded, plus you can then optimise the grant with up to an additional £500 which must be match funded by yourselves on a pound for pound basis.
