60% Training Grants Available
15/1/2009Health and Safety training providers First Stop Safety has recently been made aware of a new grant scheme which could see companies, public sector organisations and charities able to claim grants worth up to 60% of health and safety training costs. Unlike many government-funded initiatives, the application process is quick and simple, and the eligibility criteria cover the great majority of organisations.
First Stop Safety run half-day ‘Demystifying PAT Testing' and full day ‘In-Depth' PAT (portable appliance testing) training courses, as well as a 3-part modular Noise at Work programme and a full day practical Industrial Audiometry course all of which are eligible for funding. This is regardless of whether companies are looking to secure a place on one of the courses held around the UK, or looking for us to run a course at their own premises privately for a number of delegates.
Funding needs to be applied for through a local ‘Train to Gain' broker. You can find out more about the range of courses, eligibility criteria for the grant scheme, or get help in finding your local Train to Gain broker by contacting First Stop Safety's training team on 01904 791050, emailing to sales@firststopsafety.co.uk or visiting www.firststopsafety.co.uk.
Funding is limited and allocated by region on a ‘first come, first served' basis, so it's a case of getting applications in as quickly as possible!
