The Advanced MMA course provides advanced instructions on equipment setting and material preparation and positional welding of all joints in plate and pipe.

Objectives

On completion of the course participants will be able to:
* prepare plate and pipe vee butts, branches and bevels using Oxy-acetylene cutting equipment
* achieve full root penetration welding of vee butts in plate, in the flat, vertical and overhead positions
* weld fillet and bevels in flat, vertical and overhead positions
* weld pipe branches, flanges and vee butts in rotated and fixed positions
