Acton Training Centre

Acton Training Centre is a training company offering training in ICT and Basic Skills. Established in 1997 and based in Acton London, we have built our reputation on quality learning with emphasis on the learner.

All training programmes are accredited to national standards. Learners can enrol for a variety of qualifications, including NVQs, ECDL and City & Guilds.

There is also a choice of over 800 Learndirect courses. We are helping business organizations within West London to up-skill their staff in IT and Basic Skills.

Improving languages, literacy and numeracy skills are recognised as key elements in moving unemployed people into work.

Computer Training

The training centre in West London is equipped with 80 high specification multimedia PC workstations situated in 4 classrooms on the first and second floors. All classrooms are equipped with:

  • Multimedia Projection System
  • 21MB High Speed ADSL traffic via a central route
  • Low radiation, high specification, adjustable FST monitors on all workstations
  • Our own in-house network engineers and students equipped the centre.
Courses include:

  • iMedia (Interactive Media)
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Language)
  • Advanced ECDL 
  • Networking Level 2

Apprenticeships Training Providers - London

Acton Training Centre Apprenticeships are for young people aged between 16-24 who are keen to start a career through being employed, whilst also undertaking vocational qualifications towards their chosen career. Usually, students undertake the programme mainly in the workplace (or via assignments in their own time); training can also take place at college. Apprenticeships are paid a salary or training allowance by their employer and can study towards a level 2 or level 3 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). Apprenticeships can also study Key Skills and the Technical Certificate.
